What distinguished the Riviera was its unmistakable dodecagonal case: twelve facets that refract light in ever-changing ways and give the design an architectural clarity that remains unique and distinctive to this day. This example is in good condition. The gold bezel shows typical fine scratches and light signs of wear expected on a regularly worn bicolor watch of this age. The white dial is free of discoloration, the subdials are clearly legible, and the moonphase display is intact with gold stars and moon on a blue background. The integrated steel/gold bracelet with signed Baume & Mercier folding clasp fits snugly and shows normal wear.
