Sometimes no complications, no bezels, no subdials are needed – sometimes the quiet elegance of a well-made three-hand watch is enough to convince. The Enicar Star Jewels is exactly that: a Swiss timepiece from the late 1960s or early 1970s that scores with restraint and craftsmanship quality rather than loudness.

The silver sunburst dial is impeccably preserved and radiates a clarity that is remarkable more than half a century after its manufacture. The applied, faceted baton indices catch the light from every angle and give the dial a three-dimensional depth that is hard to capture in photos. The slim hands with black filling and luminous accents perfectly harmonize with the indices, while the Saturn logo and the "STAR JEWELS" inscription emphasize the affiliation to the upscale Enicar line. The marking "T SWISS MADE T" confirms tritium luminous material and Swiss manufacture.

The stainless steel case with its straight, angular lugs shows the design language typical of the late 1960s: clear, masculine, without unnecessary decorations. The scalloped stainless steel case back with the embossed Enicar dolphin emblem neatly finishes the piece.

This specimen is in exceptionally good condition. The case shows sharp edges and is free of deep scratches or polish loss. The dial is original, clean, and without spots or discoloration – a rarity in this age group. The dark brown leather strap is new (Di model, Handmade in Germany) and completes the overall picture. Inside works a hand-wound movement – the most honest form of mechanical watch, where you feel a direct connection to the gear train with every winding.
