Reduction as the highest form of elegance: This Juvenia Ultra-Thin embodies the purist design philosophy that has distinguished the Swiss traditional house from La Chaux-de-Fonds since its founding in 1860. Juvenia was one of the first companies to dedicate itself to the development of its own ultra-thin calibers starting in 1908 – a pioneering spirit that culminates in this elegant timepiece from the 1960s. The stainless steel case is remarkably slim and merges with the original Juvenia Milanese bracelet into a flowing, almost jewelry-like unit on the wrist. The silver sunburst dial – reduced to applied baton indices, the Juvenia logo, and two slender hands – deliberately omits the date and seconds hand, a design decision that enables the ultra-thin profile and focuses entirely on the essence of timekeeping.

This example is in good, honest vintage condition. The case shows slight signs of wear and fine scratches, as expected for a timepiece of this age. The dial is overall well preserved with its characteristic radial finish. The Milanese bracelet with Juvenia-signed clasp still fits well and gives the watch its typical smooth wearing comfort from the sixties.
