Longines Conquest Ultronic 1544-1
Longines Conquest Ultronic 1544-1
This Longines Conquest Ultronic Ref. 1544-1 screams '70s high-tech: Instead of a tick-tock, you can hear a 300 Hz tuning fork (caliber 6312). The result is a buttery smooth sweep second hand and quartz-like precision—only electromechanical rather than fully electronic.
The 36 mm cushion-cut case is made of hard-gold-plated steel with a brushed finish and authentic wear—not a museum display, but an authentic wrist-candy patina. The silver sunburst dial features black tritium blocks, gold and black hands, and a date window at 3 o'clock. All original, all funky.
Inside is the Longines Caliber 6312, a 12-jewel movement with an eccentric index for fine adjustment. It switches smoothly, and the date changes crisply at midnight. The watch was tested with a new battery; there are no humming or buzzing issues.
