Longines Flagship

The Longines Flagship is one of the iconic models from the traditional Swiss manufacture in Saint-Imier. First launched in the late 1950s, the Flagship line stood for elegance, reliability, and the best Longines had to offer at the time. This example from the early 1970s perfectly captures all of that: a slim 34 mm stainless steel case with integrated mesh design, a deep blue sunburst dial, and the famous applied winged hourglass logo at 12 o’clock.

Inside ticks the Longines 847 hand-wound caliber with 17 jewels, a reliable and elegantly crafted movement from the golden era of Swiss watchmaking. The blue dial with fine baton indices, subtle "Flagship" signature, and braided bracelet texture give the watch a distinctive 70s charm that feels more current than ever today.

The watch is presented in an honest, well-preserved vintage condition. The dial is clean and retains its deep blue color, while the case shows fine signs of wear from age. The mesh bracelet with signed folding clasp may not be the original Longines strap and could have been added later – but this does not affect the harmonious overall look of this charming dress watch.
